The Name

The theme of the World continues on with the mark. Our visual identity centers around projections of the world map:
.1 We start with a classic simplification of a globe.
.2 We further simplify the globe by cutting it at the Tropics.
.3 Taking the positive space of the remaining geometry and subtly modifying the longitudinal lines we’re left with the final lettermark: a M and a C separated by a dot.


This version is Mondo’s main lettermark. It should be used for the vast mayority of situations to ensure brand recognition in this introductory phase.


This is the secondary version of the Mondo lettermark. It resembles a speaker horn. Should be used as decorative element in the artwork and NOT as a stand-alone brand.

The word ‘Mondo’ has its roots in Latin and means the World. In English, it can also mean huge / extremely big. It is a fitting name for a global event series of this magnitude. For our logo we have chosen Ocean Sans Std Semibold Extended. This typeface is akin to fashion logotypes, but by using all lowercase characters, we are carving our own niche: communicating that the Mondo brand is inclusive + female friendly, fashion forward, elegant, but accessible.
